Lao's story is inspired by the photographer Noam Galai. He took a selfie of himself screaming, and it accidentally became a symbol for a revolution in Iran. The video of the story is fascinating. Noam was able to watch his face help topple dictators from his own living room. But I got to thinking about what I would do in that situation, and it would probably be dumb. As you can see by what's happened so far, Lao has made some pretty bad decisions.
