ARTISTS! if you've been wondering how to 'break in' and find work, let this chapter be a lesson.

I had originally lined up a different artist for this chapter, but things fell apart at the last second. At the exact moment i was wondering who to hire, someone reblogged a Jemma Salume drawing on Tumblr and I loved it so much I immediately offered her the gig. Around the same time, the same thing happened when she was offered the cover for Smut Peddler, one of the most successful anthologies out there.

Now Jemma is already very well regarded and respected but I didn't know about all that! I just saw beautiful art that was unlike what anyone else was doing. And that's all I needed to know! So make the art only you can make, and share it! Then you'll have no competition!
